Access

One of the great joys of living and working in Westerham is the amazing network of public footpaths that connect to the Greensand Way, Squerryes Park, and North Downs Way. In fact, if you were to walk from Westerham into the countryside, you’d be walking on a Squerryes footpath for at least one kilometre, and in some cases, up to five.

We discovered during the pandemic just how precious access to the countryside is for our mental health and wellbeing. We have therefore committed to better signposting public rights of way, and telling stories on rich local history and amenity, to further enhance people’s countryside experience. All we ask in return is for people not to litter, keep to the footpaths, and enjoy responsibly.
